He would later have an important role in "I Loathe a Parade". He is the son of Lester and Lauren Gupty, and the younger brother of Tricia Gupty

Tad is voiced by Glenn Eichler's son under the pseudonym of Miles Purinton.

Tad and Tricia are based on actual kids Anne D. Bernstein used to babysit for, according to "Guestward Ho!".
