A Daze at the Races

The 16th story in the Falling Into College series by Richard Lobinske. The story occurs during mid-April, ending on Quinn's 18th birthday, April 15, 2000.

Summary

Quinn learns that she has been accepted to Pepperhill University. At Lawndale High, the grade-fixing scandal continues as Ms. Li's computers are taken by the police and Coach Gibson is suspended. On the morning of Quinn's 18th birthday, Jake and Helen are once again trying to finish their income tax returns at the last minute. Quinn and Tiffany meet Stacy at a race track to watch Stacy in a race. After the race, Sandi meets them and wants to patch things up.
