[[Jane Lane]]'s mother, wife of [[Vincent Lane]], artist specialising mainly in ceramic sculptures, not often seen, more or less an opposite of [[Helen Morgendorffer|Helen]], indicated in [[Lane Miserables]] by Jane's comment when asked by Helen if they have any rules at the Lane house, that "There is the one about not building fires in rooms that don't have fireplaces."
