Arguably one of [[The Angst Guy|The Angst Guy's]] most moving fanfiction stories. Juniors in college, Daria and Jane take their spring break at a ski lodge to restart their lives. Jane has been seriously injuried and crippled by a car and Daria continues to hold herself at fault for the accident. Originally a section in the unfinished fic [[Bipolar II]].

Two other stories are linked to this one, though this tale stands on its own. The linked stories, one a prequel and one a sequel, are "[[If You Only Walk Long Enough]]" and "[[Wonderlane]]," and both are [[crossover]]s with Lewis Carroll's Alice stories (which is ''not ''directly linked to "April Is the Cruelest Month."
