Arena Del Sur
Arena del Sur was the pseudonym of Ariel Bustos, a fan and fanfic author from Argentina. Sadly, he passed away from cancer in March of 2014, at the age of 31.
In his time, he was a frequent contributor to PPMB discussions and wrote several fanfics with a literary bent: significantly, semi-crossovers between Daria and Vladimir Nabokov's novel Lolita, and Daria and Jiro Taniguchi's manga A Distant Neighborhood nominated for Favorite New Author in the 2011 Daria Fanworks Awards.
One of his last projects was an attempt to replace the English audio tracks with the Mexican dubbing and translating the subtitles in Spanish for the rips of the Daria DVD set.
