Bartholomew J. Simpson

A U.S. Army officer with the rank of Major General, who has been appointed military governor of the First Military Section (the part of the U.S. that contains Lawndale) in Apocalyptic Daria.

Simpson is tall and resembles the late actor Charlton Heston, except that his hair is dark brown in color. It is revealed that he has a daughter, who is a U.S. Army major stationed at Fort Knox in Kentucky.

Simpson was stationed at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas prior to Black Saturday.
