Bright operations
'Bright operations' is the term used by the United States Armed Forces (as well as all signatories of the Bowman Acts) in reference to overt military operations that involve the usage of metahuman-oriented assets (as opposed to covert military operations, or 'black ops' ). This comes as a direct reference to Article 28 of the 1983 Bowman Act, which stipulates the term and that such usage of bright ops must be limited to Class Two metahumans or lower in active combat during military operations except in case of a declared war.
