This paranormal style story follows the events after two evil spirits invade the bodies of Quinn Morgendorffer and Stacy Rowe, which eventually causes profound changes in Lawndale.
Crystal Claw is probably the first story to give the backgrounder [[Backgrounder#HappyGirl|Happy Girl]] a prominent role, as she becomes the best friend of dark spirit Ella Anne Morgendorffer. The story provides Happy Girl, under the name of Anna Coulthard, with deep character development.
