Debbie Cawthon

Debbie Cawthon is an assistant writer for "Val Magazine" sent to Lawndale to do a story about Daria in Richard Lobinske's John Lane Series when an essay that Mr. O'Neill entered for Daria in a contest for the magazine places second.

An alternate version of the character, Debbie Cawthon-Schellski, appears in the Falling Into College story, "Girl, Lost and Found", while doing a followup story about 'D' after leaving "Val Magazine".
