Disaster Strikes! is a fanfic written by John Berry in fall of 2000 under the pseudonym "Sean Perry." It is the seventh "episode" of the Abruptly Amy series (including the pilot).

- John Berry kept running into creative roadblocks during the writing of this episode, and had to be prodded along several times by Wild. With Berry unable to push the length past the limit of his usual fanfics, Disaster Strikes! is the shortest of the Abruptly Amy installments.
- Berry credits "Evil Tom" in this episode with giving him the inspiration for "Evil Josh" in his Keen Toons cartoons.
