After [[Jodie Landon|Jodie's]] less than successful visit to [[Grove Hills]] and [[Jake Morgendorffer|Jake's]] refusal to even consider sending [[Daria Morgendorffer|Daria]] away to school, combined with simmering annoyance at some of Daria's columns in the [[Lawndale Lowdown]], [[Ms. Li]] makes sure that there are "special options" for some students in the upcoming medieval fair. To avoid a transfer to the yearbook staff, Daria agrees to be volunteered to sell reproduction manuscript pages that [[John Lane (character)|John]] produces at the fair.
