Ferdinand Bardamu

A misanthropic physician with a prose style consisting of short sentences or fragments separated by ellipses, Dr. Ferdinand Bardamu is the narrator of French author and Nazi collaborator Louis-Ferdinand Céline's first novel, Journey to the End of the Night. He first appeared in Daria fanfiction as the narrator of Scissors MacGillicutty's "Journey to the End of the Fashion Club," in which he is a doctor at Cedars of Lawndale.

Subsequently, Dr. Bardamu has appeared in a cameo role in MacGillicutty's "Where's Mary Sue When You Need Her?" and as the author of a psychological evaluation in Roentgen's fic, "Reclamation."
