Before leaving to visit Michael at his home in a Detroit suburb for the July 4 weekend, Daria promises Jane she'll tell Michael that she loves him. She meets his parents, Ron and Samantha, as well as his younger sister Gina and learns to get along with them. Despite her best efforts, she still finds it difficult to tell him.
