She is the mother of [[Lynn Quinn Michaelis]] and the wife of [[Jake Michaelis]]. Aside from being Daria's aunt instead of her mother, she differs little from the Helen of <i>Daria</i> the series. In <i>Daria the Movie</i>, Helen is played by Gates McFadden.
