==Summary==
This episode, roughly equivalent to 3 "normal" episodes, tells the story of the time period after [[Dye, Dye My Darling]]. This summer representedrepresents a major test of Daria's and [[Jane Lane|Jane's]] friendship,. This is following [[Tom Sloane]]'s pulling the "friend switch," once having been Jane's boyfriend andbefore thengoing beingout with Daria.
 
The episode found Jane going to [[Ashfield]], andan artists' colony with college students, wherein both her commitment to her own ideals and her commitmentperception toof beingher not gay,sexuality were tested.
 
Daria, by contrast, was forced to volunteer at the [[Okay To Cry Corral]], a camp for troubled youth, run by [[Timothy O'Neill]], with the less-than-able assistance of the also-troubled [[Anthony DeMartino]]. There she meets [[Link]], an anti-social child who Daria attempts to help. At the same time, she begins her relationship with Tom and has to deal with his family and life in the middle class.
 
[[Quinn Morgendorffer|Quinn]], upset with her performance on a standardized test, took the shocking step of trying to getimprove smarterher test scores by hiring a tutor, [[David Sorenson]].
 
Other sub-plots include [[Mack Mackenzie|Mack]] working in an Ice Cream Truck and trying to find time for [[Jodie Landon|Jodie]], [[Kevin Thompson|Kevin]] and [[Brittany Taylor|Brittany]] working as lifeguards, and [[Jake Morgendorffer|Jake]] attempting to determine the difference between a joke and a serious statement.
