Even though he is estranged from his family, Kyle is a member of the Armalin family, who own Armalin Defense Armaments - a small firearms company, located in Fort Christian, Ohio, which specializes in 'personal armaments designs for self-defense'. He hasn't spoken to most of the members of his family in several years, primarily because of their reaction to his refusal to speak to the government on the company's behalf.
