Characterization[edit]
The series portrays her as hapless and over-worked to the point of exhaustion by Helen, who at one point basically asks Marianne to do Quinn's homework, and in Psycho Therapy it is implied that she has to ask for permission to use the bathroom.
Not much in known about her personal life, though it can be assumed she has a family, per comments in Daria!.
