Old Friends/Bookends
Old Friends/Bookends is a fanfic by Two-Eyed Charlie, written for the Daria the Unreliable Narrator Iron Chef prompt started by Kristen Bealer. The idea behind the prompt was to write a story that asked whether the episodes reflected objective reality, or if there was something deeper lurking behind the surface.
Two-Eyed Charlie decided write a story about a much more passive Daria and then named it after a Simon and Garfunkel Song, because sad.
Was nominated for Favorite Overall, Favorite Drama, Favorite School-Centered, Favorite Alternate Universe, and Favorite Weird Idea at the 2018 Daria Fanworks Awards.
