Daria fanfic by The Angst Guy, written in response to an Iron Chef challenge to write a story in which a minor Daria character was given a major role and kept in canon, with Daria herself in a subplot.
In the story, Chuck Yeager, the son of Helen and Jake's old student friends, returns to Lawndale and Quinn begins to fall for him and vice versa. The reason Chuck is in Lawndale, however, will force Quinn to face darkness if she wants to stand by them, and face an unexpected betrayal.
Two sequels by other writers - “Redemption,” by Atimnie; “Vengeance,” by Bacner - have been written.
