She is an accomplished student with an interest in mass communications; with the interest in 'super-teams' created at USAES in the wake of the battle simulation between the Legionnaires and [[The Alliance]], Renee and five other cadets with similar abilities have formed a group they refer to as [[Jaguar Eleven]]. She is also a friend of [[Tiffany Blum-Deckler]], and helps her with her schoolwork.
