Renewal is RangerLou's sequel to her story, Excuse Me?. Still emotionally recovering from the nighmares she suffered in the first story, Daria agrees to become a regular babysitter for one of Helen's clients, a doctor at Cedars of Lawndale hospital. At first reluctant, Daria grows attached to the little girl, whom she describes as "reminding me of someone I used to know".
