The Islands bar

First seen in "A Path of Roses and Thorns," this is a small hole-in-the-wall bar located on a traffic island in the middle of an intersection near Tennyson University. The bar is well-known for its excellent selection of domestic and imported beers, and for its drink and lunch specials ($0.50 domestic drafts, and $2.00 orders of mini-kabobs and steak fries). It is the place where Amy Barksdale and Maurice 'Reese' Wyatt had their first kiss.

The bar gets its name from its location, the tropical-island motif the owners have for the place, and the reputation the bar has for being a place where patrons can get away from it all.
