Galen Hardesty wrote this fascinating alternate ending to "The Teachings of Don Jake." When Daria Morgendorffer finds her mother's cell phone (per "The Teachings of Don Jake"), she cannot get a signal, either because of a dead battery or being out of a coverage area. Rude, rollicking fun develops as Daria single-handedly tries to gather her wandering, hallucinating family safely together again.
