Though the Course May Change Sometimes, Rivers Always Reach the Sea

A post-canon Daria fanfic by The Angst Guy. Ten years after she met Daria Morgendorffer at Lawndale High, Jane Lane has moved on with her life—but adulthood has led her in unusual directions.

The title of the story comes from a lyric in the Led Zeppelin song, "Ten Years Gone." Kara Wild sparked the idea for this story with a thread she began in PPMB’s “Deep Thoughts” about what the characters of Daria might be doing ten years after the show began (in Dariaverse time, 1997).
