Tiffany Blum-Deckler is an Asian teenager, a member of the Fashion Club of Lawndale High. Tiffany is shown on the Daria TV series to be not very bright and terminally narcissistic, with a Valley Girl drawl. She is in many of Quinn Morgendorffer's classes.

Fanfic Stereotypes

Jewish Tiffany

Because of her last name, Tiffany is usually seen as Jewish. Nothing is ever done with this concept in the show, and Tiffany's entire religious side is summed up in the (unintentionally) ironic comment she makes in "Dye! Dye! My Darling": "I love philosophy."

Adopted Tiffany

Also because of her last name and her Asian appearance, she is usually depicted as an adopted child. Her ethnic origins are debated but usually boil down to Chinese, Japanese, or Vietnamese. Her biological mother is occasionally named as Angela Li, for obvious reasons.

Fantastic Tiffany

Many fanfic authors have commented that because Tiffany is portrayed as so unintelligent and one-dimensional, it is difficult to elaborate on her character. This leads some authors to reveal that she is actually a robot, an alien, a super-hero, or has some other surprising twist in her background that no one knows about.
