United States Military Command
United States Military Command is the reorganised remnants of the United States' armed forces in the Daylight/Legion of Lawndale Heroes stories, giving what remains of the US government a functioning army. It was first introduced in "Erebus" by Brother Grimace and Roentgen.
The USMC was created under Executive Order 034 by Acting President Nancy Pelosi. Navy ranks were replaced with their army counterparts; command officers were granted severe latitude in order to perform their duties, which includes the power to conscript and to provide brevet promotions. When Kyle Armalin received these orders, it also came with the news that he would not receive reinforcements or resupply, and communication only by monthly courier.
The USMC's bases were:
- Eastern Theatre HQ - Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, North Carolina
- Central Theatre HQ - Reese Air Force Base, Lubbock, Texas
- Western Theatre HQ - San Diego, California
as these were the only surviving military bases in the United States. The Legion Tower would join this list.
In "The Hope Mission", it was revealed that, as part of their plans to consolidate power in preparation towards declaring their rise as a governmental entity, the organization Arcana attacked Central Theatre HQ and overran the facility.
