As with most of the author's stories, this is a [[Daria Morgendorffer|Daria]]/[[Trent Lane|Trent]] [[shipper]], with their relationship precipitated when he finds Daria, sans glasses and jacket, at a convienience store 200 miles from [[Lawndale]]. She was attempting to get home after being abandoned by [[Quinn Morgendorffer|Quinn]] and the rest of the [[Fashion Club]]. Daria had tagged along with them out of boredom while [[Jane Lane|Jane]] was out of town with her mother. The story features most of the Fashion Club falling into drug use, the trashing of the Morgendorffer house during a party and a close call for Daria with a serial killer.
