Inspired by the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakesphere ShakesphereanShakespearean] play [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Taming_of_the_Shrew The Taming of the Shrew] and along the lines of [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beverly_HillsPlatinum_Triangle_%28Los_Angeles%29 Beverlythe Platinum HillsTriangle], it is a small city (roughly equal in size to [[Lawndale]]), with a very wealthy populace. It is possible that Verona Beach, or a version of it, exists in near-[[canon]] [[Dariaverses]].
