Highland Herald

The Highland Herald was Highland High's school newspaper. It was shown in the Beavis and Butt-head episode, "Sporting Goods" when Daria Morgendorffer was pressured into joining the paper by her parents. Because she was a girl, she was made the fashion reporter, despite her hatred of fashion and the lack of any fashion in the town.

Daria's photo of Beavis and Butt-head in thongs was put on the front page, so we can assume the Herald wasn't the most serious of school papers. (After doing this, we never hear of her being on the paper ever again!)

In fanfiction, it is sometimes assumed that Daria was the fashion reporter for a long time and has a secret knowledge of fashion as a result. She's often incorrectly called the fashion editor.
