Art Frieze

The 11th story in the Falling Into College series by Richard Lobinske. The story occurs during the second half of January, 2000.

Summary

Jane adjusts to dorm life at BFAC. Dorm neighbors Mary and Nell are introduced. Over breakfast, Nell tells Jane about the Ice Tea Party, an ice sculpture competition held at BFAC's courtyard every winter. Making a Lane version of panels from the Amber Room, Jane becomes engrossed in the creation, but also begins to feel intimidated by the talent demonstrated by the other competitors.
