The younger brother of [[Brittany Taylor]] in ''Daria.'' As shown in [[canon]], Brian has a pronounced streak of cruelty. andIt is noted in several places tothat enjoyhe enjoys the torture of small animals (e.g., "[[The Lab Brat]]" and ''[[The Daria Database]]''). He is one of the characters most often described as "evil" by fans of the series. This perception is strongly reinforced in many of the fanfics about him, which almost without exception present Brian as a dangerous psychopath.
