Cynic's Complaint

Cynic's Complaint was an essay by Daniel Suni, written after "Partner's Complaint" aired.

He argues that "Partner's Complaint" is one of the worst episodes aired and damaging to the series. The central premise is that "Daria's cynicism is one of the major corner stones of the show", and that Daria asking her mother for advice and apologising to Jodie violates this, and Daria is giving in to an 'ends justify the means' stance to get along. Suni also is scathing towards Daria and Jane's interactions.
