Daria 2007: The Girl From Hope is a story written by The Angst Guy. The premise of the story is two-fold: that the story makes use of the changes in culture, technology and history that have occurred since Daria went off the air in 2002 (setting the story in the present-day of 2007), and that Daria and Jane are considered virtual delinquents, with Daria transferring to Lawndale High from Hope High School instead of Highland High School.
