Rejected by the citizens of Latveria when he tries to gain their support, he goes to his remaining child, Quinn, and tells her how Queen Daria has plotted to keep her away from her rightful place. Daria eventually discovers that her father is possessed by the demon Mephisto, leaving her to try to discover a way to defeat Mephisto while saving Dr. Doom, as well as her new daughter.
