==Background==
Diane is the economics teacher of [[Lawndale High]]. She is married to a man named Herbert and both collect stuffed toys called "[[Fuzzy Wuzzy Wee Bits]]" which seem to be a parody of Beanie Babies.
When teaching in class, Diane's diagrams on the chalkboard resemble football plays, leaving practically all her students in a fog when trying to understand what she's writing. She generally tries not to teach and usually comes up with excuses not to, such as taking her class on a field trip to the mall.
