Mrs. Diane Bennett is a fictional teacher from MTV's animated show Daria.

Background

Diane is the economics teacher of Lawndale High. She is married to a man named Herbert and both collect stuffed toys called "Fuzzy Wuzzy Wee Bits" which seem to be a parody of Beanie Babies.

When teaching in class, Diane's diagrams on the chalkboard resemble football plays, leaving practically all her students in a fog when trying to understand what she's writing. She generally tries not to teach and usually comes up with excuses not to, such as taking her class on a field trip to the mall.

She is one of the few teachers at Lawndale High who enjoys having Daria Morgendorffer as a student, save for principal Angela Li, and school psychologist Margaret Manson. She is liked by all students.
