Her age is also open to debate; most fans assume that she's about a year younger than Tom, though portraying them as twins is not unheard of. Elsie is portrayed in fanfiction much more often than her brief appearances in the series, though her age relative to Tom differs from fic to fic. She and Tom are normally written as having a sibling rivalry much like Daria and Quinn have with one another.
