Elsie Sloane: Difference between revisions

Elsie makes only two small appearances in [[Is it Fall Yet?]], where she displays a somewhat cynical attitude. She shows an antagonistic relationship with Tom, randomly attacking him for "quasi-rebelliousness" and getting accused by him of having "faux-jadedness".

Elsie is portrayed in fanfiction much more often than her brief appearances in the series, though her age relative to Tom differs from fic to fic. She and Tom are normally written as having a sibling rivalry much like Daria and Quinn have with one another.

Notable fanfics starring Elsie include [[The Hallowed Halls of Fielding]] ([[alternate universe|AU]]), where she becomes Daria's best and only friend when the girl starts at [[Fielding Preparatory Academy]], and [[But Now Is Found]], where she becomes the best friend of a younger, alien abductee Daria.
