Appearances and Characterisation

Elsie makes only two small appearances in Is it Fall Yet?, where she displays a somewhat cynical attitude. She shows an antagonistic relationship with Tom, randomly attacking him for "quasi-rebelliousness" and getting accused by him of having "faux-jadedness".

In Fanfiction

Elsie is portrayed in fanfiction much more often than her brief appearances in the series, though her age relative to Tom differs from fic to fic. She and Tom are normally written as having a sibling rivalry much like Daria and Quinn have with one another.
