The time period spans from fall of 1968 until Helen and Jake's wedding in June 1975, but focuses mainly on the years at [[Middleton College]]. Jake tells the tale of how he went from a fresh, inexperienced graduate of [[Buxton Ridge Military Academy]] to a full-fledged hippie, thanks to Helen's influence. The bulk of the narrative revolves around Jake's attempts to woo Helen. ==Trivia== This episode introduces the characters of [[Sebastian]], [[Mook]], [[Keenak]], [[Serenity]], [[Ryvre]], [[Yuna~~]],~~ and [[Little Flower]].
