From the Futon is probably a song by Mystik Spiral. Trent's handwritten lyrics are seen in The Daria Diaries, and Jesse has added: "Trent - you're a genius! Can I sing it?" Nothing more is known about the song, but if Jesse liked it, it probably ended up on the set list, since Max and Nick wouldn't have the power to veto it.
