Martingale
Martingale is the twenty-fifth installment of Roentgen's Legion of Lawndale Heroes series. It was initially titled 4:1 (Chapter 4, Part 1), and was given a title for the first time when coding of the older postings of LLH on the PPMB was corrected.

- First appearance of Black Majesty.
- Jane Lane's position of Leader of the Legion is formalized, with Jane Lane beating Sandi Griffin on a 3-2 vote. Sandi Griffin becomes Deputy Leader of the Legion for the first time. One assumes that Jane simply considered the start of her term to be the time when she was selected among the three Legionnaires to be leader, and did not serve a full twelve-month term.
