Misery's End

An alternative history story by Richard Lobinske that speculates Daria's family dies of poisoning from the psychotropic berries they ate in the episode, "The Teachings of Don Jake". Agreeing to the request in Helen and Jake's will, she becomes Daria's guardian and both try to adapt to their new life together, going through the time framed covered by Season 2.
