Revision is a quasi-script fanfic written by Kara Wild in winter 2002. It is a part of Thomas Mikkelsen's Tales from the Burbs series.

Background[edit]

Mikkelsen came up with the idea of a comic-horror series called Tales from the Burbs and recruited Wild and Milo Minderbinder to help him. Each contributed at least one story. Later, Brandon League would be inspired to write his own Tales story, called Cool.

Summary[edit]

Set between "Dye! Dye! My Darling" and "Is It Fall Yet?," Revision revolves around Helen casting a spell to keep herself young and beautiful based on Daria's enduring crush on Trent. After Daria kisses Tom, a rapidly aging Helen realizes that she needs to get Daria and Trent together, or else!

Ironically, this is Kara Wild's most canon fanfic to date, in that it works within the boundaries set by Season Four. By contrast, her series, the Driven Wild Universe, departs from the television series from "Lane Miserables" onward and does not acknowledge the events of "Fire!", "Dye! Dye! My Darling," or "Is It Fall Yet?"
