The book is similar in lay out to the 1993 [[Beavis and Butt-Head]] book "[[This book sucks]]" it even has the same town overviews, childhood pictures section and the character introduction pages are also similar.
Also the "Daria Database" is similar to the Beavis and Butt-Head [[Ensucklopedia]] most notably in the fact that everything is in alphabetical order and with little notes at the top half commenting on the articles.
