Line 1:
A series of stories in script form by [[Kara Wild]]. It begins towards the end of the third season of the series diverges from the series continuity from that point, although Tom Sloane does become—and stay—Jane Lane's boyfriend. An intriguing AU, DWU is noted for its development of Quinn as a glasses-wearing math genius, an interesting outcome in light of a similar development of Quinn as being much smarter than she first appears in the actual TV series (e.g., as in "Lucky Strike").

An interview with Kara Wild about the series, consisting of fan-submitted questions and conducted by [[E. A. Smith]], can be found at [http://www.the-wildone.com/interviews/DWU_interview.htm The Contrarian's Corner].
