First seen in "[[A Path of Roses and Thorns]]," this is a small 'hole-in-the-wall' bar located on a traffic island in the middle of an intersection near [[Tennyson University]]. The bar is well-known for its excellent selection of domestic and imported beers, and for its drink and lunch specials. It is the place where [[Amy Barksdale]] and [[Maurice 'Reese' Wyatt]] had their first kiss.
The bar gets its name from it's location, the 'tropical island' motif the owners have for the place, and the reputation the bar has for being a place where patrons can 'get away from it all'.
