The Misery Senshi Neo-Zero Double Blitzkrieg Debacle was the first Daria fan fiction story written by Peter Guerin in 1998. It was a crossover with the anime series Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.

Plot Summary

The story surrounds itself around four main plots:

1. Daria being appointed to replace Ami Mizuno as Sailor Mercury as Ami gets ready to go to Germany for her medical studies.

2. The attempt by Amazana Yoriko and the New Imperial Rule Assistance Association to take over Japan.

3. The flight Ami Mizuno was taking to Germany so she could start her medical studies being hijacked by Muslim terrorist Akbar El-Salaam.

4. The attempt by the Lawndale Militia to take over the town during the big high school football game against Highland.

Posting History of the Story

The story was first serialized on Katherine Goodman's old alt.lawndale.com site, even as Katherine decided not to accept any more serialized fan fic. It was later reposted to Outpost Daria. In 2001, however, in light of the terrorist attacks of September 11, Guerin pulled the story because he felt that his depiction of Akbar was inappropriate given the changed climate of the times and that he was also concerned that fellow fan fic author Austin Covello had become too obsessed over the character. However, the fic can still be located on Guerin's personal fanfic site; it is unknown if he decided to repost the fic at a later date or simply requested other websites to remove his story.

Currently this fanfic is more commonly found in a MSTed version, and is given the somewhat dubious honor of being mentioned by name on tvtropes.com's article defining MSTing.

In March 2010, Guerin re-edited and re-issued the story on Mark Zero Fan Fiction's new site.
