tommyXmaserati (born Derek Joseph Thomas-Goforth; August 7th, 1992) is a Daria fanfiction author originally from Columbia, MO and raised there, now residing in Oakland, CA. Tommy is also a U.S. Army veteran who served with the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom as an automated brigade-level supply clerk. After leaving the military and finishing trade school as a logistics engineer along with a few years of education at Columbia College (Coast Guard Island) and Berkeley City College, he became a paralegal research secretary working directly under the law counselor and board member of the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment in Oakland. He began writing fanfiction for Fanfiction.Net in 2015 and recently Wattpad. His debut Daria fanfic Million Daria Baby was nominated for Favorite Drama at the 18th 2021 Daria Fanworks Awards, his first nomination for any of his works. This fanfic is credited as being the sole portrayal of Stacy Rowe’s “Boxer Stacy” alter-ego. Currently, he is a video editor and hip hop artist that has worked on records with Grammy nominated producers such as K.E. On The Track under the name Tommy MV$ERVTI.
