TommyXmaserati
tommyXmaserati (born Derek Joseph Thomas-Goforth; August 7, 1992) also known professionally and/or stylized as Tommy MV$ERVTI and Tommy X. Maserati is the pen name of an American fanfiction author, artist, musician, amateur music video director/actor and activist originally from Columbia, MO and raised there. He now resides in Oakland, CA. Tommy graduated Hickman High School and joined the U.S. Army at the age of 18 and is a combat veteran who served with the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom as an automated brigade-level supply clerk. After leaving the military and finishing trade school as a logistics engineer along with a few years of education at Columbia College (Coast Guard Island, Alameda) and Berkeley City College, he became a paralegal research secretary working directly under the law counselor and board member of the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment in Oakland.
He first began publishing his writing on Fanfiction.Net in 2015, now authoring three ebooks. His debut Daria fanfic Million Daria Baby made him a nominee for Favorite Drama at the 2021 Daria Fanworks Awards, the first award nomination for any of his works. Tommy wrote the following musical fanfiction Fashion Club Entertainment as well, a songfic oneshot based around The Fashion Club and their journey into the music industry. This fic was also nominated twice at the 19th Booties aka the 2022 Daria Fanworks Awards by which Tommy is a Favorite New Author award recipient for that year.
Currently, he is a professional emcee, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, video editor and author that has created records with Grammy nominated, multi-Platinum and Gold RIAA certified producers such as K.E. On The Track, PVLACE, ThizzmanBeatz, etc.
Although retired from the Daria fandom as an author, Tommy has plans to write a final fic featuring the Daria character Jodie Landon as protagonist in the legal drama/political thriller, Jodie Landon: Shadow Senator. The fanfic is set to be published shortly after the release of Jodie.

His nominated fanfic Million Daria Baby is credited as being the first and currently sole portrayal of Stacy Rowe’s “Boxer Stacy” alter-ego.
Tommy has never seen a single Beavis and Butt-Head episode fully and has no plans to but has watched their 2022 film, as it has a Daria cameo.
His favorite Daria episode is The Daria Hunter. A close second is Daria!. His favorite Daria movie is Is It Fall Yet?.
Tommy’s guitar teachings originate with Laura Weinbach, vocalist of the indie rock band Foxtails Brigade and duo band Laura & Anton.
